You might be surprised to learn that I am a police officer. I have been in law enforcement for over 25 years, the last 21 years working for a Sheriff's Office in Oregon.
Web design began for me as a hobby. I have always been interested in technology and wanted to challenge myself to learn something new. I wanted to develop a department intranet site for our employees. I read some books and had a lot of help from a good friend of mine that works in our IT department and discovered that I really enjoyed web design.
I focus on standards based web design. What this means is that your website will be compliant with the latest web standards and practices. It will look virtually the same to the viewer, no mater which browser they use.
I like to use clean, practical designs so your potential clients or customers can find the information they are looking for quickly, without getting frustrated.
My area of expertise is law enforcement related sites but I am willing to consider projects of any type including personal, business and non-profit.
